Do you know what warranty you are getting from your mechanic?What do you need to know and understand?Workmanship warranty: How many months and/or klms are they giving to warrant the work they have carried out.Warranty on parts supplied and fitted:  Whether it be new aftermarket, genuine or 2nd hand/recycled parts, they will all come with a different warranty condition. You want to know if it is different from the standard warranty being given.Warranty conditions:  What are the conditions of the warranty given; Eg, what is and isn't covered, labour covered, does the vehicle need to return to the workshop or if you are too far away from their workshop, what are the requirements for warranty repairs.If all the above information is not on the invoice or estimate from your mechanic, then you'll want to make sure there is a link to all this information that you can read and understand. And if you don't understand, ask questions until you do.The industry requirements for workmanship warranty is 6 months/10,000klms, whichever comes first.-----------------------------------------

ABOUT OUR WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

👉 12 months/20,000klm (whichever comes first) warranty on all workmanship carried out by Ipswich City Mechanical.👉 All parts supplied by Ipswich City Mechanical are under the manufacturer or suppliers' warranty unless otherwise stipulated.👉 Should any warranty claim be required, Ipswich City Mechanical must be informed and give authorisation before any work is to be carried out.👉 It is the responsibility of the owner to return the vehicle to our workshop, an RACQ Approved Repairer or another appointed repairer approved by Ipswich City Mechanical.👉 Warranty may be voided if there have been any modifications to the vehicle or any components have been tampered with or modified in any way.For full details of ourTerms of TradeandPrivacy Policycan be viewed by clicking on the links.To make a warranty claim, please contact our office on 07 3812 1341 or send an email toadmin@ipswichcitymechanical.com.au
